cement companies have temporarily suspended all plant operations as the government carries out a nationwide lockdown to combat the rising number of COVID-19 cases. Cement makers across the country completed scheduled maintenance for their production lines and equipment earlier this year, with several plants now setting up for care and maintenance for the duration of the lockdown.
