Race is On for FPSO Contract in Australia, an Industrial Info Market Brief
A joint venture of Santos Limited and Carnarvon Petroleum has awarded three competitive pre-FEED contracts for the design of the floating production, storage and offtake (FPSO) vessel for the Dorado oil field development project. One of the pre-FEED contractors will be selected at the end of the pre-FEED contest to begin the formal FEED work. As published in Upstream, Japanese heavyweight MODEC is one of the three, while the other two parties are from a list of either SBM Offshore, BW Offshore or Altera Infrastructure (formerly known as Teekay Offshore).
