Kenyan Dairy Industry Stumbles Due to COVID-19, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Milk production in Kenya dipped from 60 million liters in January to 54 million liters as of the end of March, according to the Kenyan Dairy Board. The available stock of raw milk was depleted as a consequence of the challenges faced in supplying the milk to dairy processors as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which in turn led to an increase in dairy product prices.
