Mexico's Laguna Verde 1 Nuclear Power Plant Authorized to Operate for Another 30 Years, an Industrial Info Market Brief
On July 24, the first unit of Laguna Verde Nuclear Power Complex finished its first 30 years of operation. A week before, the owner and operator of the complex, Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE), completed successfully the renewal process started in March 2015, and the license for operations was extended for another 30 years through July 2050.
