Canadian independent power producer Northland Power Incorporated and Taiwan-based developer Yushan Energy are moving forward on their joint development of the Hailong Offshore Windfarm project, in the seas off western Taiwan.
The phases under development include Hailong 2A, which would generate 300 megawatts (MW), Hailong 2B (232 MW) and Hailong 3 (512 MW). An agreement was signed with CSBC DEME Wind Engineering to provide the balance-of-plant work, while Siemens Gamesa will supply the turbines for Hailong 2.
