Union workers are striking at Argentina's refineries, and no party involved knows when the strikes will end. Despite the lack of full personnel, the affected refineries remain operational.
YPF S.A.'s 113,200-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Lujan de Cuyo and 205,000-BBL/d La Plata refineries; Axion Energy's 85,000-BBL/d Campana Refinery, Trafigura pte Limited's 31,500-BBL/d Bahia Blanca Refinery and Raizen Argentina's 93,000-BBL/d Buenos Aires Refinery continue to run at the rates they were working at before the strike. However, if the strikes persist and product cannot leave the plants, refiners may consider production changes to control storage levels.
