China's Power Consumption Up 7.7% Year Over Year in August, an Industrial Info Market Brief
China's overall power consumption reached 729.4 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in August, a year-over-year increase of 7.7%, according to the nation's National Energy Administration (NEA).
For the period of January through August, total power consumption reached 4,767.6 billion kWh, an increase of 0.5% year over year, the NEA said.
