China's Power Output Up 6.8% Year Over Year in August, an Industrial Info Market Brief

China's overall Power generation output reached 723.8 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in August, a year-over-year increase of 6.8%, and 4.9 percentage points higher than in July, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China. For the first eight months of this year, China's accumulative power generation output reached 4,772.8 billion kWh, an increase of 0.3%.
