Exelon Generation Company LLC today, September 29, took 227.2 megawatts (MW) offline from the Byron 02 unit at its Byron Nuclear Power Station in Illinois. The unit is coasting down for a refueling outage and operating at 80%. This event is scheduled to end October 4.
Entergy Gulf States Louisiana LLC today, September 29, took 78.24 MW offline from the River Bend 01 unit at its River Bend Nuclear Power Station in Louisiana, due to low pressure in a feedwater pump. The unit is operating at 92%, and this event is expected to end September 30.
Florida Power & Light Company today, September 29, took 32.08 MW offline from the Turkey Point 04 unit at its Turkey Point Nuclear Power Station in Florida. The unit is operating at 96% in preparation for a refuel on October 3.
