In the first nine months of 2020, China's investment in power generation reached $46 billion, a jump of 51.6% year-over-year, China's National Energy Administration announced on October 22.
The investment in wind power reached $24.16 billion, a jump of 38%; that of hydropower reached $9.94 billion, an increase of 21% year-over-year; that of thermal power and nuclear power reached $4.93 billion and $3.51 billion, respectively, and dropped 27.2% and 2.3% year-over-year.
