                    China's overall power output reached 641.9 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in November, an increase of 6.8% year over year, and 2.2 percentage points higher than October, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
For this year through November, China's accumulative power generation output was 6,682.4 billion kWh, a slight increase of 2.0% over the same 11-month period in 2019.
By fuel type, thermal power in November was up 6.6% year over year; that of hydro power was up 11.3% year over year, but 14.1 percentage points lower than in October. Wind power and solar power were up 5.9% and 5.3% year over year, respectively, but were 8.8 and 2.8 percentage points lower, respectively, than in October. Nuclear power dropped 0.8% from the same month in 2019, and was 0.5 percentage point lower than in October.
