Taiwan's state-owned utility, Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), has awarded General Electric a supply contract for its latest gas-turbine technology, as well as for a steam-turbine generator and a heat-recovery steam generator (HRSG) at the Taichung Power Plant in Taichung, Taiwan.
