Valero restarted the 36,000-BBL/d Unicracker on January 18, following repairs that began on January 2, at its 220,000-BBL/d Bill Greehey Refining West Complex in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Consumer Co-Operative Refineries Limited will conduct a 40-day, plant-wide turnaround on May 14 at its 130,000-BBL/d Regina, Saskatchewan, refinery.

Pemex TRI continues with a planned turnaround at its 270,000-BBL/d Cadereyta, Mexico, refinery. The 120 ton-per-day SRU 5 and SRU 6 units began corrective repairs on November 23, while the 6,000-BBL/d HF Alkylation 1 has been in a preventive turnaround since November 17. The repairs are scheduled to be completed by late January or early February, instead of mid-January as previously expected. The 120,000-BBL/d Combinada 1 (Crude 1) unit was restarted on December 21; however, the unit was shut down on January 4 due to inventory controls. A restart date is undisclosed at this time. The 150,000-BBL/d Combinada 2 (Crude 2) unit is running at 120,000 BBL/d; the remaining operational units are processing at approximately 44% of normal capacity.

International
ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd has rescheduled a five-day planned turnaround of the 185,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit 2 at its 300,000-BBL/d Jurong Island (PAC) Refinery in Singapore. The turnaround, which was previously planned to begin December 8, is now scheduled to begin on February 17. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by February 21.

Gazprom Neft PAO Moscow has scheduled planned, minor maintenance at its 243,000-BBL/d Moscow Refinery in Russia. The 40,000-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater (LCH-24-2000), 41,600-BBL/d Catalytic Cracker (G-43-107) and 20,000-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer LCH-35/11-1000 units are scheduled to go down in early October. Maintenance is expected to take up to two weeks to be completed.

Tabriz Oil Refining Company (TORC), on January 18, was forced to shut down the 16,000-BBL/d Visbreaker unit due to a fire in a soaker drum at its 115,000-BBL/d Tabriz Refinery in Iran. Expectations are to complete the repairs and restart the unit by January 22. TORC also was forced to derate nine units by 15%. The units are expected to resume full throughput by January 22.
