SUGAR LAND--June 18, 2021--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In May 2020, Industrial Info's North American Industrial Spending Index, a monthly measure of project investments, was down by $174.09 billion, or 31%, from a year earlier, as the region coped with the economic fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic and plummeting oil prices. Things have changed a lot since then. The spending index has registered spending gains each month this year in the U.S. as the economy continues to rebound.
