Toyota Plans Big Investment in U.S. Auto Batteries
SUGAR LAND--October 19, 2021--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Toyota Motor North America (Plano, Texas) said Monday it plans to make some big investments in automotive batteries in the U.S., including a new plant. In all, the company said it plans to invest $3.4 billion in auto batteries in the U.S. through 2030, with a focus on the hybrid and all-electric auto market.
