In its hometown of Detroit, Walbridge, along with joint venture partner Aristeo (Livonia, Michigan), is at work on a retool/modernization project for Stellantis NV (NYSE:STLA) (Amsterdam, Netherlands) at the Jefferson North assembly plant. The retool and upgrades will enable the production of the next generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Dodge Durango and a new plug-in hybrid vehicle. In Asheville, North Carolina, Walbridge is underway with a project at a grassroot casting foundry and manufacturing plant for Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, Connecticut). The project includes construction of a 1.2 million-square-foot facility, of which 850,000 square feet will be manufacturing space to house an advanced casting foundry for the production of turbine airfoils.
