Valero, on April 29, 2022, experienced a process upset on the 75,0000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) fluid catalytic converter unit (FCCU) 1241, which remains shut for an unknown duration at its 395,000-BBL/d Port Arthur, Texas refinery. The FCCU 1241 had undergone a 61-day turnaround from January 13, 2022, to March 13, 2022.
