Australia, India Trade Agreement to Benefit Australian Wine Industry

NEW DELHI--May 23, 2022--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Australian government and India have signed an interim agreement, named the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (AI-ECTA), which will cut down tariffs of certain Australian goods exported to India, including wine. Tariffs for bottles valued at more than US$15 would be reduced from 150% to 25% over a period of 10 years.
