Bakken Shale's Natural Gas Production Rate Outpaces Oil as Producers Eye Expansions
SUGAR LAND--November 29, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--North Dakota's production of natural gas is growing at a faster rate than that of oil, reaching a record 1.94 billion cubic feet per day in August, or the equivalent of about 334,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) of crude oil, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
