November 21, 2023--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Earlier this month, Unit 2 of the Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant in Khulna, Bangladesh, was inaugurated in a ceremony featuring India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The 660-megawatt (MW) unit is expected to double capacity at the Maitree facility to 1.32 gigawatts (GW).
