Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--ENEOS Corporation has announced that it is closing two refineries in Japan. The 120,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Negeshi refinery was already planned to close in October this year. Recently, ENEOS announced that it will close its 127,500-BBL/d Wakayama refinery in October 2023. The move will reduce ENEOS' refining capacity by 13% to 1.62 million BBL/d, according to Reuters.
