(La Défense, France), has announced that the Andina & Hornitos Thermoelectric Complex in the Antofagasta Region of Chile will be disconnected by January 1, 2026. With the retirement of both 160-megawatt (MW) units, Engie Chile will have stopped burning coal for power generation in the country.
