Georgia Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company (NYSE:SO) (Atlanta, Georgia), is pushing coal out of its portfolio as part of its 2022 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). Industrial Info is tracking more than $1.8 billion worth of fossil-fuel and renewable-based projects from Georgia Power.
