SUGAR LAND, TEXAS--June 8, 2021--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The staff of the Georgia Public Service Commission (GPSC) (Atlanta, Georgia) on Monday cast significant doubt on Georgia Power's projected in-service dates for units 3 and 4 of the Alvin W. Vogtle Nuclear Power Station, and said construction costs could be as much as $2.4 billion over the most-recently agreed upon amount.
