October 20, 2023--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Canadian public utility Hydro-Quebec (Montreal, Quebec) said last week it has commissioned the last of four generating stations at its Romaine hydropower complex in Quebec. Industrial Info is tracking US$4.7 billion worth of projects from Hydro-Quebec, with US$3.5 billion attributed to transmission and distribution (T&D) projects and US$1.2 billion attributed to hydropower. The largest transmission project is a line designed to provide hydropower to New York City.
