KOFU, JAPAN--November 8, 2023--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--ENEOS Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) recently closed its Wakayama Refinery in Arida, Japan, as part of a broader effort to reduce carbon emissions and eliminate aging units. The 120,400-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Wakayama Refinery started operations in 1941 and had been the oldest refinery from ENEOS.
