BEIJING--October 17, 2013--Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--Northeast Electric Power Survey & Design Institute (NWEPDI) (Xian, Shaanxi), a regional subsidiary of China Power Engineering Consultancy Corporation (CPECC) (Beijing), signed the survey and engineering contract for Huaneng Shaanxi Power Generation Company Limited's (Xian, Shaanxi) 2,000-megawatt (MW) expansion at the Tongchuan coal-fired power plant on October 10, 2013, the CPECC announced on October 14.
