U.S. LNG Exports Up in July - Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the U.S. rebounded in July with a 9% jump from the previous month, as plants resumed operations after planned maintenance, preliminary data from Refinitiv Eikon showed on Tuesday. In July, U.S. producers exported a total of 7.44 million tonnes of LNG, of which 43% went to Europe, 36% to Asia, 10% to Latin America and 2% to the Middle East, the Refinitiv data showed. (Reuters)

Pioneer Natural Resources' Profit Declines - Pioneer Natural Resources (NYSE:PXD) (Irving, Texas) posted a fall in second-quarter profit on Tuesday, as the shale producer was hurt by a decline in oil prices from last year's sky-high levels. Pioneer said its average realized price for oil fell to $72.90 per barrel for the April-June quarter from last year's $110.56 per barrel. The company reported second-quarter 2023 net income of $1.1 billion, compared with $2.4 billion in the prior-year quarter. (Reuters)

Equitrans: Mountain Valley Gas Pipeline Set for 2023 Completion - Equitrans Midstream (NYSE:ETRN) (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on Tuesday said it still expects to complete the Mountain Valley natural gas pipeline by the end of the year despite being tangled in numerous court fights since construction began in 2018. The U.S. Supreme Court last week on Thursday removed an obstacle to completing the 303-mile pipeline, which runs from West Virginia to Virginia.
