July 17, 2025--Written by Daniel Graeber for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Port of Corpus Christi said deliveries of crude oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) set a record during the first half of the year, with LNG deliveries up some 10% year-on-year. "Port of Corpus Christi customers moved 51.1 million tons of commodities through the Corpus Christi Ship Channel in the second quarter of 2025," the port authority said Tuesday. "The tonnage marked a record second quarter for the Port, besting the prior second quarter record of 50.6 million tons, set in 2024."
