Malaysian auditors have flagged the Lynas Advance Material Plant (LAMP) facility, owned by Lynas Corporation, due to its radioactive waste stockpile at its processing plant. Lynas Corporation, the only significant rare-earth producer outside of China, continues to engage in discussions with the Malaysian government regarding a longer-term storage solution, and has filed an appeal to renew its operating licenses.
