September 22, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Qatar Energy (Doha, Qatar) has awarded South Korea's Samsung C&T Corporation (Seoul) a US$1.2 billion engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build the country's largest solar power facility in Dukhan. The 2,000-megawatt (MW) facility will span 27 square kilometers and feature 2.74 million panels with tracking systems.
