September 16, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) last week gave Entergy Corporation (New Orleans, Louisiana) the go-ahead to construct two natural gas-fired power plants to help meet growing power demand in southeastern Texas. However, the PUCT has taken steps to limit construction costs to avoid unnecessary rate increases.
