Bayport Polymers continues to start up its new 2,205 million-pound-per-year Ethane Cracker in Port Arthur, Texas. The unit is expected to be operational in March.
Eastman Chemical has rescheduled a 30-day planned turnaround of the 300 million-pound-per year Hydrocarbon Cracking (HCC) 3 and 300 million-pound-per-year HCC 3a Ethylene Units at its plant in Longview, Texas. The units now are scheduled to shut down at the end of February.
ExxonMobil Chemical has delayed a tentative 35-day planned turnaround of the 263 million-pound-per-year OLA-1X Ethylene Unit at its plant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The unit now is expected to shut down later in the year, but an exact start date has not been confirmed at this time.

Lotte Chemical Corporation is on schedule to perform a 45-day planned turnaround of the 2,646 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Yeosu Chemicals Plant in South Korea, beginning May 6. The restart is expected by June 19. Lotte Chemical also is on schedule to begin a 30-day planned turnaround of seven units on May 13, with the restart expected by June 11.
GAIL India Limited remains on schedule to perform a 15-day maintenance turnaround of the 992 million-pound-per-year Ethylene Unit 2 at its Auraiya (Pata) Complex in India, beginning April 6. The restart is expected by April 20.
Oxiteno Industria & Comercio SA is planning a 20-day maintenance turnaround of the 55.1 million-pound-per-year Ethylene Oxide II Unit at its Camacari plant in Brazil, to begin March 7, with the restart expected March 26. A 15-day maintenance turnaround of the 63.9 million-pound-per-year Ethylene Oxide I Unit is expected to begin October 10, with the restart expected October 24.
