Morivarid Petrochemical Company remains on schedule to perform a 25-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 1,102 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Assaluyeh Petrochemical Complex in Iran, beginning January 27. The restart is expected by February 20.
Rustavi Azot JSC has rescheduled a planned annual plant-wide maintenance turnaround at its Rustavi Azot Fertilizers plant in Georgia. The maintenance now will begin in August.
Severodonetsk Azot Association JSC's 550,000-metric-ton-per-year Ammonia 1A and 550,000-metric-ton-per-year Ammonia 1B Units are in reserve mode at its Severodonetsk Azot Fertilizers plant in Ukraine. The units have been in reserve since late June and early December, respectively, due to high natural gas prices. The units are tentatively expected to resume operations by spring 2022.
