Appalachian Power Company's bituminous coal-fired, 1,300-megawatt (MW) Mountaineer 01 unit is offline due to a boiler leak at its Mountaineer Power Station in West Virginia. The event is expected to end July 4.
Site-wide Scheduled Maintenance for April 12, 2025, between 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. CST. During this time, all services will be unavailable periodically throughout the scheduled maintenance window.
