Valero, on January 18, shut down the 18,000-BBL/d Platformer CCR 2 and the LRU (Vapor Recovery Unit) for 40 days of planned maintenance at its 225,000-BBL/d refinery in Texas City, Texas.
CITGO Petroleum, on January 17, started a planned six-week maintenance turnaround of the 69,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) 2 and 21,000-BBL/d Hydrofluoric Alkylation (HF Alky) Unit on the East side of its 165,000-BBL/d refining complex in Corpus Christi, Texas.

ENEOS Corporation, on January 7, was forced to shut down the 42,000-BBL/d Residual FCCU 2 Unit at its 270,000-BBL/d Negishi Refinery in Japan due to mechanical issues. The 28,000-BBL/d FCC Gasoline Desulfurization (FCCG) Unit was shut down as a sympathy outage. The restart is expected by February 2.
Qatar Petroleum, on January 11, began the 65-day planned maintenance shutdown of eight units at its 127,000-BBL/d Mesaieed Refinery in Qatar. The restart is expected by March 16.
Hellenic Petroleum SA, on January 19, shut down the 77,500-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (Crude 01) for minor inspections at its 100,000-BBL/d Athens Elefsina Refinery in Greece. The restart is expected in late January.
