ExxonMobil continues rebuilding the F 4 furnace on the 57,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) HF 3 (Fuels West Hydroformer) Unit at its 557,000-BBL/d refinery in Baytown, Texas. The rebuild could continue until the middle of May, with the unit restart to follow.

Idemitsu Kosan Company began a planned turnaround of the 40,000-BBL/ Residual Hydrotreater at its 190,000-BBL/d refinery in Chiba, Japan. Expectations are to restart the unit by May 23.
