September 12, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--According to a filing released earlier this week, the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has begun preparing the environmental impact statements (EIS) for two natural gas pipelines in the southeastern U.S. adding up to nearly 500 miles in combined length and bringing 3.4 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of new natural gas transmission capacity.
