U.N. Report Urges Even Faster Adoption of Renewable Energy, Phase-out of Fossil Fuels
September 12, 2023--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Global investment in renewable energy has soared in recent years, but investments must be further accelerated, and fossil fuel use phased out, if the world is to avoid the worst impacts of global climate change, according to a report released last week by a consortium of technical experts. The report is a run-up to a global climate conference scheduled to take place in late 2023 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
