U.S. Plans 12 Potential Offshore Wind Energy Leases

The U.S. energy sector is behind many of its peers when it comes to offshore wind, though programs under President Joe Biden have shown promise. So far, the government has approved eight commercial-scale offshore wind projects, which would combine for a peak energy capacity of 10 gigawatts (GW).
