Petronas, Malaysia's state-owned oil company, has signed a five-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sale and purchase agreement with Korea Midland Power (Komipo), one of the largest power-generation companies in South Korea.
Petronas agreed to supply 240,000 metric tons of LNG per annum to the South Korean utility for the span of five years, starting in 2020. Currently, Komipo operates six power plants in South Korea.
