Kerosene consumption across Africa grew 0.9% in 2019, reaching about 262,000 barrels per day (BBL/d).
Nigeria is at the top of the list, with plans to add 80,000 BBL/d of kerosene hydrotreating units to its mix by 2025. Egypt will follow with more than 50,000 BBL/d in 2026, while Angola will add a 12,000-BBL/d unit.
