Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Privately held Burris Logistics (Milford, Delaware), one of the largest temperature-controlled logistics companies on the East Coast, is constructing a food distribution center in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Plans call for the construction of a corporate office and warehouse facility of approximately 250,000 square feet on a 92-acre site, zoned as a light industrial business park near exit 23 on Interstate 91.
Stellar (Jacksonville, Florida) is the design-build contractor and the refrigeration package. Stellar will self-perform most of the mechanical trades and sub-contract the refrigeration package.
