China Power News Network is supervised by State Electricity Regulatory Commission of China.

Specifically, $1.51 billion will be used to renovate seventeen 500kV circuit breakers, nineteen 500 kV transmission lines, forty-two 220 kV transformers, seventy-four 220 kV circuit breakers, eighty-nine 220 kV transmission lines, sixty 110 kV transformers, one hundred and sixty 110 kV circulate breakers, sixty 110 kV transmission lines.

In terms of power plant building, Anhui will upgrade its Hefei Power Plant, in the province's capital, with a set of 600,000 kW generating units. The project will start before the end of 2007.

There are also three coal-fired power plants on the agenda of the provincial government. The new power plants in Tongling city, Bengbu city and Chahu city will have two 600,000 kW generating units each.

The Tongling and Bengbu plants are invested by China Guodian Corporation (Beijing, China), while the Chaohu one is invested by China Huaneng Group (Beijing, China). All four projects are supposed to be complete by 2009.
