Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--China's crude oil output reached 17.39 million metric tons in November 2012, up 6.4% from November 2011. From January to November 2012, China's accumulative crude oil output reached 189.5 million metric tons, up 1.8% from the same period last year, while the output of natural gas in the same period reached 189.5 million metric tons, an increase of 1.83%, according to the "Instant Statistics Report" recently announced by the National Statistics Administration of China.
According to the report, China's crude oil processing volume reached 14.62 million metric tons in November 2012, up 9.1% from November 2011; from January to November 2012, China's accumulative crude oil processing volume reached 424.61 million metric tons, an increase of 3.2% the same period last year.
In view of different products, the output of gasoline reached 8.04 million metric tons, an increase of 15.8% from November 2011; kerosene reached 1.885 million metric tons, an increase of 16.1%; diesel reached 14.892 million metric tons, an increase of 5%; fuel oil reached 1.673 million metric tons, an increase of 3.3%. From January to November 2012, China's accumulative gasoline output reached 81.431 million metric tons, an increase of 9.8% from the same period last year; kerosene reached 19.413 million metric tons, an increase of 13.4%; diesel reached 155.713 million metric tons, an increase of 2.3%; and fuel oil reached 16.806 million metric tons, an increase of 2.7%.
In view of different regions, the output of crude oil in the Heilongjiang province reached 36.64 million metric tons from January to November 2012, a drop of 0.05%, accounting for 19.34% of the total output nationwide. The output of Shaanxi, Tianjin and Shandong ranked from the second to the fourth position, accounting for 17%, 14.83% and 13.4% of the total output nationwide.
In regards to imports and exports, China's import of crude oil reached 23.37 million metric tons in November 2012, while the import value reached $18.8 billion, an increase of 3.65% from November 2011. From January to November 2012, China accumulative import of crude oil reached 247.35 million metric tons, an increase of 6.7% from the same period last year, while the accumulative import value of crude oil reached $202 billion, an increase of 12.8%.
