China's Offshore Windfarm Costs Continue to Fall, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Through nearly 10 years of sustained development, technological progress and the accumulation of experience, China's offshore windfarm investment costs have dropped from 25,000 Chinese yuan (RMB) (US$3,585) per kilowatt (kw) to about 15,000-17,000 RMB/kw (US$2,151-2,868/kw) in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas, and to about 17,000-20,000 RMB/kw) (US$2,438-2,868/kw) in the Fujian and Guandong areas.
