China's accumulative power generation output reached 5,900 billion kilowatt hours (kWh), during the first 10 months of 2019, up 3.1% year over year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
China's power generation for the month of October was 571.4 billion kWh, an increase of 4.0% year over year.
Thermal power output in October was 5.9% less than in October 2018. Likewise, hydro power was down 4.1%; but wind power was up 10%, nuclear power was up 5.4%, and solar power generation was up 3%.
