Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)-- The Hershey Company (NYSE:HSY) (Hershey, Pennsylvania) is building a distribution center in Ogden, Utah. After considering several sites in Nevada and Arizona, Hershey selected a site in the Business Depot Ogden industrial area. Hershey started site work this past spring and is on schedule to have the facility fully operational by November 2008. The $38 million capital investment calls for a 540,000-square-foot building with refrigerated and dry storage areas.

GSBS Architects (Salt Lake City, Utah) is the project architect of record and Big-D Construction Incorporated (South Ogden, Utah) is the general contractor.
