Currently, the company has seven distribution centers in Alachua, Florida (Plant 1038911, PEC 05001658); Scottsville, Kentucky; Indianola, Mississippi; Fulton, Missouri; Zanesville, Ohio (Plant 1041680); Ardmore, Oklahoma; and South Boston, Virginia. Construction is currently underway at the Company's South Boston, Virginia and Ardmore, Oklahoma distribution centers. Dollar General offers basic household items such as cleaning supplies and health and beauty aids, as well as some apparel and food. The stores are geared to target low, middle and fixed-income customers. At the end of the fiscal year in January 2004, sales exceeded $6.9 billion.
