U.S. Oil Supplies Fall - The U.S. Energy Information Administration reports that U.S. crude supplies declined 5.1 million barrels for the week ending December 8. Gasoline inventories grew by 5.7 million barrels. (Fuel Fix)
OPEC Sees Balanced Oil Market in 2018 - OPEC expects the world oil market to be balanced by late 2018 as its deal with other producers to cut output reduces excess oil in storage, even as the U.S. and other producers outside the group pump more crude. (Reuters)

Plains All American Announces Open Season for Permian-to-Corpus Christi Pipeline - Plains All American (NYSE:PAA) has announced an open season on a potential crude oil pipeline from Wink South, Texas, to Corpus Christi. The pipeline could be operational by third-quarter 2019. (Business Wire)
NATURAL GAS
Natural Gas Exports from North Sea Field Halted Due to Pipeline Closure - Exports of natural gas from one of the North Sea's key fields have been halted for at least three weeks until early January, after the closure of Britain's largest oil and gas pipeline, the Forties Pipeline, field operator Total (NYSE:TOT) said on Wednesday. (Reuters)

EQT Sets Capital Budget for 2018 - EQT Corporation (NYSE:EQT), the biggest U.S. natural gas producer, said on Wednesday it expects to spend $2.4 billion next year, the majority of which will be to develop more wells in two key shale formations in the Appalachian region. (Reuters)
